Referral Criteria

Referral Method

Patients are accepted for Psychosexual Counselling by referral from your GP only.

Waiting Times

Even booked appointments can sometimes run late as consultations are unpredictable.

Waiting times are primarily affected during the 'Walk in and Wait' clinics' this is due to the number of patients arriving to be seen.  We try to see everyone as quickly as possible, our aim is to see you within 2hrs. Please be prepared to wait.

Sometimes we have to redirect you to alternative clinics or 'cap' the clinic as we are already to capacity and cannot see you, this is regrettable but necessary.
