Your healthcare records stay within our department and only our staff have access to them. We will not write to your GP unless you have given us permission to do so.

Our staff have very strict rules on confidentiality. The law says that we have to keep all your records and information completely confidential.

If we are worried about your safety and we think you might be in serious danger, we may need to discuss this with another professional. We would always try to tell you before we share information, if it is safe for us to do so.

If you're worried about confidentiality, don't be afraid to ask one of the doctors or nurses.
