I have had unprotected sex with multiple partners

Having multiple partners can increase the risk of catching an STI, especially if these partners are also having multiple partners on a regular basis too.  We know that some STIs don’t have symptoms, therefore it’s easier to catch an STI if you’re having sex with multiple partners or having group sex.

Maybe you’re choosing not to use condoms or things are getting in the way of you remembering to use them at the time, either way we would recommend regular STI testing.

If you have had unprotected sex with someone you know has or believe to have HIV, you can take medication called PEP to help reduce HIV transmission. This must be taken within 72 hours after unprotected sex, but the sooner the better.

Remember, if you’re worried about the sex you’ve been having, chat to our operator in confidence and without judgement.
