As part of our ongoing service, we have launched a new series of online learning opportunities, which aim to be - informative, current and interactive. The series will run throughout the year and will cover a range of topics listed below.
Our first event - A Sexual Health Perspective for Inclusive and Effective Practice - HIV & STIs takes place on 22nd June. This session will explore how sexual health services can inform inclusive care across all healthcare settings, with a particular focus on HIV, STIs, and reducing inequalities.
These sessions are open to health, education and social care professionals, who work to support people with sexual health support. Please scroll down for further information and to book a place.

The aim of this webinar is to:
Improve the knowledge and understanding of professionals and volunteers, working with LGBTQ+ individuals and communities, by providing specific information, materials, and resources to improve confidence and practice.
Increase confidence to enable sexual health conversations, to challenge stigma and discrimination, improve access to Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and HIV testing, PrEP and PEP, and Contraception, through signposting and knowledge of pathways.
Increase awareness of key terminology and the importance of inclusive language and services available.
Know the importance of creating a safe space for gender and sexually diverse people.

Make sure that you are set up in an appropriate work space for the webinar.
Be aware of what is in the background of your frame. You may want to remove any personal or identifiable items, such as family photos etc.
Wear appropriate clothing for the activity.
Make sure everyone in your household is aware that you are on a live video workshop.
Make sure that you are logged in using just your first name and initial only.
You will receive a meeting id and password via email, do not share this in any way.
Do not record or screen shot anything during the workshop.
If anything occurs to make you feel uncomfortable or upset, contact your hosts through the chat function.

All our webinars are recorded for training purposes. We will not share this data with any other party or other participants.

This may include checking your organisations email security settings and junk/spam folders. Two emails with joining links will be sent out: two days before, and the morning of the event.
