What are the common side effects?

It is normal to experience side effects and they vary from person to person. Common side effects include:

  • Mood changes
  • Changes to periods
  • Skin changes (spots/acne)

These are most common in the first three months as your body is getting used to the new hormone. This usually settles on its own, so it’s worth sticking with it.

‘Fit and Forget’ contraception methods are long lasting, discreetly fitted and some can help with hormonal issues i.e. lightening heavy periods.
