Industrial Action Information

Staff at Solent NHS Trust will be taking part in industrial action (strikes) as Royal College of Nursing (RCN) members on the following days:

• Wednesday 18 January from 7.30am to 8.00pm
• Thursday 19 January from 7.30am to 8.00pm

This may mean that we have less nursing staff available to support our clinics.  Patient safety is of the upmost importance at all times.

What this means for Sexual Health Services

Some of our sites will be offering limited services or may be closed. Please check here on the day for more updates.

We are making every effort to contact people whose appointments are affected. If you have not heard from us, please attend your appointment as planned. 

We have worked carefully with staff and RCN representatives to ensure that we can continue to provide safe care whilst supporting staff’s rights to take industrial action if they choose.
