What are the common symptoms

Symptoms can vary from person to person, and often there are no symptoms. Common symptoms include:

• burning when passing urine
• discomfort,soreness or pus from the penis
• pain and/or swelling in the testicles
• sores, ulcers, rash, blisters or lumps in the genital area, or around the anus
• an unusual vaginal discharge
• lower abdominal pain
• pain during sex
• bleeding after sex or in  between periods
• itching or soreness
